Chief Program Officer
Monica L. Zeno-Martin serves as Chief Program Officer of YouthBuild USA. She is responsible for the overall performance and effectiveness of YouthBuild USA’s programming and services. This includes the support of YouthBuild programs across the United States and the management of public and private grants and contracts. She also works closely with Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership to guide the organization’s long-term strategy.
During her career, Monica has managed federal workforce development and youth development grants, coordinated statewide program replication, and led program and staff development for social justice, employment, reentry, and education programs. She has consulted on school- and community-based youth workforce development and education programs including those focused on women, families, and human trafficking. Monica has served as a member of the board of directors for organizations serving residents facing homelessness, incarceration, and unemployment. Currently, she is engaged in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship efforts in Boston, MA, and in Rwanda.
Monica holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
