2010 AmeriCorps Management Conference

August 30 - September 2, 2010
The conference will be held at the Marriott Boston Long Wharf (296 State Street, Boston, MA 02109, 617-486-1400) starting at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2010 until 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010. Please plan your travel to and from the conference around these dates and times. The program’s financial staff member who will prepare the AmeriCorps monthly grant reimbursements are only required to attend Thursday’s sessions and can register to arrive the night before.
The YouthBuild AmeriCorps Management Conference brings together new and returning subgrantees prior to the start of the new grant year, to educate and update the field about the latest Corporation for National and Community Service regulations, provisions and guidelines that surround this federal resource. An agenda will be sent prior to the conference.
An optional evening reception with heavy hors d’oeuvre will take place on Monday, August 30 from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

The Marriott Boston Long Wharf is a smoke free hotel. All rooms are non-smoking.
For all YouthBuild AmeriCorps Conference Attendees: YouthBuild USA will cover the lodging costs for two staff members that oversee and implement the YouthBuild AmeriCorps program and the financial staff member who prepares the AmeriCorps monthly grant reimbursement. You are responsible for the arrangement and payment of your transportation to and from the conference. These expenses can be billed back to the AmeriCorps grant if your program has budgeted for those expenses in its 2010-2011 YouthBuild AmeriCorps budget.

Online registration is now open. Please submit a separate registration for each conference attendee no later than Friday, July 23rd.
