Antoine Bennett, a 1996 graduate of YouthBuild Sandtown, is Co-Executive Director of New Song Urban Ministries, Inc. and interim Director of EDEN Jobs. EDEN Jobs, a job development and placement program that work hand in hand with Sandtown Habitat, EDEN has placed more than 2,000 Sandtown residents in jobs.
Bennett serves on the Board of Directors of Sandtown Habitat for Humanity. A life-long resident of the Sandtown community, he became a Habitat homeowner in 1998. Bennett also serves as the Vice President of the Sandtown Habitat Homeowners Association and volunteers to build Habitat homes.
Bennett is a member of the boards of directors of YouthBuild USA, New Song Urban Ministries, New Song Family Health Services, and Martha’s Place. He is a frequent public speaker on panels that have included Al Gore, Colin Powell and Marian Wright Edelman.
