YouthBuild AmeriCorps Gulf Coast Staff

E. Rene' Soule', Director

Rene' is responsible for the implementation of all YouthBuild projects designed to help rebuild the Gulf Coast. Since 1997, Rene has held positions at the Corporation for National and Community Service; most recently, he managed the development of faith-based and community trainings and technical resources for the organization's national portfolio.

Deborah Jefferson, Deputy Director

Deborah is responsible for the local coordination and implementation of the rebuilding initiative, including community partnerships, funder relationships, construction projects, and project participants. She has more than 20 years of expertise in housing, community, and economic development.

Willie Spradley, Construction Manager

As Construction Manager, Willie is responsible for the management, oversight and implementation of all construction activity, including rebuilding, renovation, rehabilitation and construction of new structures.

Barree Smith, Construction Team Leader

As a Construction Team Leader, Barree is responsible for oversight of his construction team (of 7-9 members) while carrying out construction activity and Broadband Fiber Optic training for the program. As part of such oversight and management, Barree is also providing training and instruction in relevant construction skills and technology, as well as encouraging youth development.

Shawn Goriola, Construction Trainer

Shawn is responsible for oversight of the entire team of members on the construction site. As part of such oversight and management, Shawn is also providing training and instruction in relevant construction skills, both on site and in a classroom environment. Shawn also helps to encourage youth development.

Justin Crockett, Construction Team Leader

As a Construction Team Leader, Justin is responsible for oversight of his construction team (of 7-9 members) while carrying out construction activity. As part of such oversight and management, Justin is also providing training and instruction in relevant construction skills, as well as encouraging youth development.
