YouthBuild USA provides resources and opportunities for YouthBuild graduates to go to college, start a business, or buy a first home through many awards and scholarships.
AmeriCorps Education Awards
In return for completing 900 hours of service building affordable housing, members of YouthBuild AmeriCorps programs receive education awards of $2,300 that can be used to pay for college or vocational training expenses or can be applied to student loans.

Helene D. Stoneman Scholarship and Civic Leadership Program
The Helene D. Stoneman Scholarship and Civic Leadership Program grants $2,000 to outstanding YouthBuild graduates to assist with their college education. The Helene D. Stoneman Scholarship and Civic Leadership Program seeks YouthBuild graduates who have been recognized for excellence in civic engagement, community leadership, and academic achievement, with special emphasis on the student's academic promise.

HHS Individual Development Account Partnership
In September 2002 and September 2004, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), under its Assets For Independence Program, awarded YouthBuild USA a total of $816,000 to enable 350 graduates of local YouthBuild programs to open Individual Development Accounts (IDA). The YouthBuild National IDA Program helps YouthBuild graduate leaders build assets through a 5:1 matched contribution to buy a first home, go to college, or start a business.

YouthBuild Asset Trust
The mission of the YouthBuild Asset Trust is to assist low-income young adults to lift themselves out of poverty and achieve their goals of economic independence through education, career enhancement, and the accumulation of assets; and to enhance their roles as leaders in their communities by providing these young leaders with resources, mentoring, and support.

YouthBuild College Club
The YouthBuild College Club is a coalition of YouthBuild graduates currently enrolled in post-secondary educational institutions. The College Club provides a forum for college-enrolled graduates to network, share resources, and receive resoures from YouthBuild USA such as financial aid, studey skill resources, and college navigation supports.
