- Transformation Practice Groups act as mini-learning communities in the context of the larger conference. Attendees took time to reflect on personal experiences working with young people and gained tools to better support each other through problem solving, supportive listening and personal appreciations.
- The Many Colors Reception was a great chance to mingle with friends (old and new), listen to music, and have a quick bite to eat. The Raffle winners took home local sport team gear and attendees experienced peer talents in participatory music, song, rap, poetry, theatre & dance.
- The Youth Plenary Panel was a unique time to hear the personal stories of transformation from young people.
The heart of the Academy are the courses and in Atlanta attendees chose one of eight including:
1. Introduction to YouthBuild Seminar
