YouthBuild student workingPresently, there are 2.4 million low-income young people aged 16 to 24 who are under-educated and unemployed. They want to learn, do meaningful work, belong to a healthy community, and contribute to society.

YouthBuild programs answer this call, providing thousands of low-income young adults every year with a unique and comprehensive opportunity to transform their own lives and rebuild their communities.

Since 1994, 76,000 YouthBuild members have produced 17,000 units of affordable housing in 44 states across the country, including Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Despite the successes of YouthBuild, there are thousands of out-of-work and out-of-school young people who cannot participate in YouthBuild, since there are at times ten applicants for each YouthBuild opening.

Join with us in expanding our program in current locations and in developing new YouthBuild programs in other communities where there are young people in need.

Introducing Tickets-for-Charity® – offering a great new way to support YouthBuild USA while accessing great seats to see some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Coldplay, Billy Joel, Elton John, Kenny Chesney, Diana Krall and many more!
