As the national intermediary and support center to over 225 YouthBuild programs, YouthBuild USA is focused on building capacity at both the local and national levels to collect and track information about the YouthBuild movement through student and program data. In addition, YouthBuild USA is committed to learning and sharing effective practices on working with out-of-school, out-of-work low-income young people to transform their lives and their communities.
Specific goals:
Collect and track data on outcomes and demographics from local YouthBuild programs
Share best practices and lessons learned
Collaborate with local YouthBuild programs, universities, and independent researchers to investigate specific questions
Provide in-depth information on local YouthBuild programs and YouthBuild USA
Disseminate research via hardcopy, Web site, presentations
