YouthBuild USA is invested in the success of all YouthBuild programs, and in the excellence of programs that are part of the Affiliated Network. Technical assistance is part of a comprehensive support system that includes trainings, phone consultation and coaching, and publications, all of which aim to help local programs increase their effectiveness and impact. Technical assistance is provided by experienced YouthBuild USA program advisors or by specialists in certain fields such as counseling or education.
YouthBuild USA strives to raise sufficient funds so that consultations can be provided at no cost to local programs. YouthBuild USA staff and consultants aim to provide in-person site visits at least once a year to affiliates; further assistance may be offered based on the interest of the affiliate and as resources allow. In addition, YouthBuild USA’s Academy for Transformation offers trainings and conferences on a range of topics of interest to local programs. Scholarships may be available for affiliated programs to assist with travel and registration fees.
