Lissette Rodriguez serves as Senior Vice President for Field Development and Program Excellence for YouthBuild USA. In this capacity, she oversees the work of the Education, Program Investment and Field Services departments, all of which are focused on building the capacity of YouthBuild sites and continuously improving local program quality. She has been with YouthBuild USA since 1998 and has served in various capacities within the organization. Prior to joining YouthBuild USA, Lissette worked for nine years at The Boston Foundation as a Senior Program Officer focused on health and community development and as Director of the Fund for the Homeless. In the mid 1980's Lissette served as the founding Executive Director of Casa Nueva Vida, a shelter for homeless families in Boston. She has a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Boston University and a master's degree in organizational development from the Fielding Graduate Institute. She is based in Miami, Florida.
